Les Enfants des Funambules explores the theme of abandonment through the eyes of two children whose childhood is marked by the abandonment of their funambulist father.
 
 
Synopsis: Two children must come to terms with the void left by their father, a funambulist who, as if poised on a tightrope, has always lived in a delicate balance between presence and absence. Following his departure, the children embark on an inner journey, made up of dreams and memories, as they try to come to terms with their father’s absence. The narrative, which blends biographical and universal elements, is told through simple, poetic images that convey the silence, the loss and the tenderness of a childhood cut short.
